I spoke to company attorney they said as long as job description is same and it is commutable distance then you can change job location. There will not be any problem and you do not have to come back to original work location.

Here is my explanation of how the new system will work -
The USCIS declares an open period for all merit based application.
Everyone on H1-B puts in an application and gets in line.
The USCIS declares the list of succesful applicants.
For oversubscribed countries (remember that the country limit is 10% of 140000) there will be unsuccessful applicants who will have to apply next year.
Those unsuccessful applicants who reach their 6th year on H1-B cannot get any more H1-B extensions because they donot have an approved I140.
So it will be goodbye to professors in Economics and Business from India and China who will not get points for either STEM or high demand occupations.
I hope this make sense.

To be safe, do it even if you get an attached I-94 as you began working. You never know what sort of a minor infraction can lead to a huge trouble later on. Good luck!

Hey there, I have a three year bachelor's (from Australia) and an American CPA. I believe the two can be evaluated to an Ameircan Master's equivalent. Please, check with your lawyers. It should be possible.

I think you are confusing it with administrative laws. Legislator makes laws, but they also give power to different government agencies to make laws within their administrative authority. Laws made by legislator go into effect as soon as the president signs it; Laws made by administrative agencies need to go into the whole federal register and other procedures.
I just cannot recollect where I had read that the law has to be published somewhere and there is 90 days delay (when someone can comment if necessary) and only then it becomes a law. I could be absolutely wrong though
Also, Sessions was able to get an amendment passed last time since SJC was in a tearing hurry. That might not be the case this time and they might want to implement this bill soon to 'stem the flow across the borders'. Personally I cannot wait for some new bill to take effect.

I got my approval email today, but my wife's online status remain unchanged received and pending. Does USCIS process dependent's application separately? Both mine and wife's application was sent the same day, FP notices were received at the same time..I mean everything was done at the same time except approval.

Despite the situation sounds illegal and I agree it is - I didn't wanted to make something illegal and was just waiting for my employer to fill the papers.
I am as well what they call a skilled worker, I basically get a o1 visa to work as manager for a big company and I don't give a fuck - but yeah I get another job offer and didn't waited to have the new visa to start. You know sometimes you can take bad decisions, people can tell you things which never happen, and that's unfortunately how life is.
Last week I get another job offer, it's real and not illegal - I worked a lot to get this offer and spent so much time working hard instead to have fun.
I am currently filling a new o1 with a lawyer and plan anyway to leave the US asap. Maybe I will never have this visa and will probably be bar for 3 years but I really need to try to make everything possible.
When I get the first job offer in the US - I was working as manager in Europe, and everything was pretty fine. I accepted this job, sold and gave all the stuff I owned to come here, in the United States, to work. Today I have no apartment or place to live in my country and I know as well that when you get a non immigrant visa you are supposed to can get back to your country easily but it's like hard to keep 2 rent and 2 places.
I will be very grateful if you can give me your point of view about my case and share your experiences.

If he has canceled the visa that is not over stay. It is illigal stay which quite lesser offence then the over stay. What is your I-94 expiry date? If it is not surpassed yet you are not subjected to any bars.

I was worried about not having paystubs from my previous H1B holder, and if that would affect my chances of H1B transfer with this other company I am with right now. My transfer got approved in TWO days (during mid Dec. last year). Yes, I did go through premium processing, but approval in TWO days! That was great.
Anyway, can anyone tell me where I go from here? To be precise, what is the maximum time limit to go for stamping to a visa consulate? Please advice.

I have a masters degree in mechanical engineering and I have been working as a system analyst for the last 2 years, does anybody here can advise if I can apply for EB2?
If yes what are the chances that there would be an RFE asking why is masters needed, I do think having done my masters i am able to understand and do the job better, but there is really no specif need for it.
Has anyone else gone through this confusion? What are the things to keep in mind?
Is there a special need how the job requirement should be?

Received I140 Approved Documents using FOI Act.
I use to suffer from my rough Employer (Desi), who never used to give me any of my Immigration Documents including Approved H1 dosument. I asked him to give atleast my H1 document so that I can go for Visa Stamping. He is such a bloody rough and he wants me to stay with him as bonded labor. I used to beg my Salary every month and never use to get my payment what I need to receive.
Meanwhile, I heard about FOI (Freedom of Information Act) and applied for it in 7 months back for the Approved I140 Documents. I applied for it and forget. To my surprise I received all the I140 related Approved documents yesterday evening. I have already changed that rough Employer without Approved H1 Notice. Now, I am very happy person working for a nice and decent Employer.
Thanks to all supporters/friends who work in these forums providing Information for the benefit of other people.
