Got the 9 SRC numbers from the back of the checks and inputted into CRIS on Monday (9/10).
Today got the "Card Production Ordered" email for one of the 3 I765's. How
can I tell whose it is?
All 9 of my checks for myself, wife, kid were cashed on Friday (9/07).
Filed at Nebraska SC July 6th (sent July 5th).

Your Welcome Notice serves as your approval notice. There are only two envelopes that one gets and you got both (Welcome Notice and Cards envelopes)

with a copy of I-140, you can complete all your paperwork between now and dawn tomorrow.
In the meanwhile, act everything is normal. Ask a employment letter with job title and current salary (say, you want it for trip to Canada or renewing your DL or some 'genunine' reason like that.

You are very practical and have excellent points.
Sometimes, ppl do get carried away by their passion (height of desperation if one looks at it another angle). We have to accommodate folks that cannot have a nonchalant attitude towards Immigration. Just like health care, GC stirs up our deepest and strongest emotions. For many, GC is an all-or-nothing proposition (again let's not fret about why it might be so, because they might have their own good reasons). Regardless, i agree with you completely, civility should not be lost. We have a broken Immigration system - all i care is how to fix it.
I am becoming a donor for the following reasons -
1. It is better to be informed and be involved rather than be "out of the loop" or in the dark
2. It is not free to get anything done in the commercial capital of the planet
3. Selfish motivation - life is short. i would like to see the end of this struggle as soon as i can. personally, cannot be a mute spectator esp. when i see someone else fighting for MY cause and I being fortunate to lend a helping hand
4. Altruistic motivation - gives some meaning to life whether we get anything done or not at the end of the day. if successful, would have the satisfaction of being part of the solution - the intangible benefits of that feeling is unexplainable.
Wish us luck and my best to everyone in all their endeavors.

Exactly... there is no such thing as LOW HANGING BALLS.... they shuld be fair to everyone... this is just a case of discrimination... first make all these useless categoreis... You might need additional documentation only in cases of RFE. In most cases there are no RFEs. I know a friend of mine was job less for a year and changed 2 jobs under AC21(with different salary ranges ) after applying 485. Never informed USCIS (I guess it is not mandatory). He got his GC recently. He probably would have faced difficulty if there were any RFEs.
One should be okay as long as the following are met :

2) Approved I140 (Some say approvable , but safe it is already approved)
3) New job is substantially similar.
Again it was not clearly defined what is substantially similar and I don't think there is any hard and fast rule about the salary changes. That leaves a lot to the discretion of the adjudicating officer. That is why it is important that (s)he trust the original intent of the beneficiary to join the employer and employers intent to recruit the beneficiary.
There must be a memo with some clarifications in this regard.

I posted to topic "My concern- Skill in 2009"...then came proud american..derailed us off track and then we forgot our route....now back to the route....what action are we talking to intorduce this Eb interm relief Bill in senate in Jan..I think we need an input from Core members about how to proceed here..
Each of us write to all out state senators and also important once like Nance pelosi, Mccain..so on...about providing some non-contraversial releif...we need to mention those and send LEGIBLE HAND WRITTEN LETTERS without spelling mistakes and send it fedex.....Send it during Chirstmas ...dot forget to mention God Bless America...just explain in simple words that we have been waiting for some relief from 2001 and have not seen any...please consider passing these non-contraversial issuses....I think they are reasonable and would agree....also mention that we have been dodged like a football saying skill/CIR and so on....
Better yet a skillfull person writing this and all of us using this...

I have a electronic mail from them with the 140 receipt Notice (as PDF)
from USCIS.. I took the LIN number from there and Queries USCIS - they says USCIS received my App on May 15th and under processing....
I took a Print out of that 140 receipt Notice and will attach with 485 Application... My approval will not come before Jan-Feb 2008.
But don't you need copy of 140 also?
Canda is not the only option.You can tell them that u r resigning.In that case u might not win but atleast he will loose everything.So might be he will ready.

Been in the US since 1998, have an EB-2 PD of 2001, have played by the rules all along. Still no GC... And, the dates are going back to 2000 from the new year.. I've lost hopes...
A: I suggest you to have a trip in India and visit some places like Dharavi,
Mumbai. If you do not want to go to India, Just take a trip to Brooklyn, NY
You will see lots of souls in a such condition, you will start feeling better.
I would not say this is nice way to feel good but that is the qucikest thing
I can think of. What I mean to say is do not feel hopeless as you are in a
way better condition than millions. And those millions have not lost hope
and faith. Yes, you do not have GC so I also do not have GC. I do not
have assets like what Bill Gates or Anil Ambani has. So now I get a good
reason to depress and feel hopeless. Should I start feeling depressed?
I'm pretty close to getting clinical depression because of this game played by USCIS, Labor Dept, FBI and my own bad luck.
SKILL bill, OMNIBUS, etc. comes and goes. IV does seem to be doing things to lobby for the community, but let's face one reality. Like a news article said, no one in congress or senate wants to touch immigration even with a long pole until 2009.

against all odds. Have confidence and faith in yourself. Stand up to
challenge the problems and entities who impose the problem on you.
The US has been very good to me (other than the GC part), more than my home country (India) which is why I'm still here.

How does a (I485) spouse doesnt have EAD and AP on hand (even if not using it and in H4/L2 etc)?
Wont they have problem when the dates become current and GC is issued to primary.

You have predicted that EB3-India cut of date would become June 2003. But your PD is July 2003. Usually people do not predict that way. They predict their own PD would become current pretty soon.:D
At one end it is bad that USCIS moved back Nebraska Processing date to June 08 2007 (More than one month backword) but it looks like USCIS is preparing itself to kick EB3-India ahead... It is too early to say this confidently.. But my feeling is that USCIS will keep processing dates tied to June 2007 and will kick EB3-India ahead. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Though as per murthy's web site in May bulletin EB3-India dates will remain same, I am feeling that if my guess is correct then at least from June bulletin we will see 2 patterns 1) Nebraka processing date would not move ahead for some months or will
move ahead very slowly from June 08 2007

as per the attorney, the case history of employers who won using non competes in the court are very rare unless the law suit is agiainst key personnel and court gets convinced by the legitemate business interest. If the employer still chooses to fight, he has got more to loose than me because of non payments of wages also being involved here. since non compete has been used just to escape the wages, courts wil be more hard on the employer and will consider it as threat rather than genuine.
Thats good news. I think the attorney I met represents more of employers and so very reluctant on mine. I believe I still have hopes, I will look for a good attorney again to get mine reviewed.
